Sometimes, technology doesn’t work perfectly, so here are some tips and help to ensure you can use your Actions without any issues

I can’t install my actions. What am I doing wrong?

Double-check that you have extracted the ZIP file. You should have an ATN file, which you need to drag into Photoshop! 

I have done a basic edit in Camera RAW before making any other adjustments. This is my standard editing process:

The action won’t play; it stops.

• Do you have the correct language set for your Actions? These Actions only work in English Photoshop.

If you don’t want to change your language, some actions may still work if you rename your background layer to "Background" before playing the action. To do this, double-click the "Bakgrund" layer and rename it to "Background". Keep in mind that this doesn’t work for all actions—the best solution is to change Photoshop’s language.

• Another possible issue is that your layers have been rearranged. Try flattening your image (select Flatten Image in the Layers menu) and then play the action again.

• Sometimes, the issue is temporary. Flatten your layers and try running the action again—it usually works after that.

The effect is way too strong.

Use the Opacity slider above the layers. You can either open the action folder to adjust individual elements or select the entire folder (by clicking its name) and reduce the opacity to tone down the effect.

I can’t run an action on an entire folder.

Did you select an action labeled BATCH? Only these actions can be applied to entire folders!
